Exercise

Everything good begins with You!

Because life can seem overwhelming sometimes with work schedules, family and even planning for a vacation, my best lifestyle advice is take it one day at a time and don't worry about things you can't control. When you learn to have a good balance of spiritual, mental, social and physical health, you would be surprised at how quickly other things seem to fall in place for you.

Physical: Start your day with a healthy breakfast low is saturated fat and more complex carbohydrates foods like whole grains & fruits. Get in the habit of doing some kind of physical exercise to get your heart rate up for 30 minutes at 3 times per week. You will improve self-esteem and feel better too!

Mental: Be sure to watch your ear gate, mouth gate and eye gates. What goes in is what comes out! Talk to people that lift you up and have positive attitudes about life. Don’t watch “junk” TV, read more articles about self improvement or your favorite hobby. You can be a light to someone in a dark place just by being positive!  “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart.”

Spiritual: This is always a controversial subject since everyone has his or her own idea of what spirituality really is. First, find out what brings peace to your mind; soul & body then schedule time for it just like you would anything else and put on your top priority list.

Social: Everyone’s personality is different. Some people feel better in large crowds and others would rather spend quiet time at home. Whatever your preference, you still have to interact with others on some level, that’s why it’s important to have a good self image. How people “see” you is largely based on how you “see” yourself. A good self image begins with words and actions. You influence how people around you feel and act by how you relate to them.

Balance is always the key to being successful in every area of your life.
