Mexican

Fajitas-chicken, vegetarian beans and rice
Extra tomatoes, peppers, lettuce salsa

Whole wheat, corn or fat free tortillas
(Beware vegetarians: tortillas may have lard in them.)

Stir-fry with vegetables and 1 cup or less rice (white rice has faster digestion than whole grain rice)

Fresh orange
Fortune cookie (50 calories)
Ask which dish has more vegetables or ask for more vegetables

Italian

Dressing on the side
½ cup of pasta = 1 serving of starch
1 breadstick = 1 ½ servings of starch
Grilled chicken or fish

Pizza

Thin crust
Leanest meats = Canadian bacon and ham
Have veggie or cheese pizza
Add a salad with dressing on the side
